Chemguide: Helping You to Understand Chemistry Designed to help students understand concepts of chemistry.

General Chemistry Online: An introduction that includes hyperlinked notes, guides, and articles for first semester chemistry. There is a glossary, FAQs and a trivia quiz. The Toolbox provides interactive graphing, a pop-up periodic table, and calculators.

A Visual Interpretation of the Table of Elements: A project "to produce images that explore and reflect upon the diversity of elements that comprise matter." Each of the elements is accompanied by a visual image, as well as a description and history (including origin of name).

• Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE): DLESE is a "geoscience community resource that supports teaching and learning about the Earth system."
• Frank Potter's Science Gems: An annotated directory of thousands of science resources, "sorted by category, subcategory, and grade level [kindergarten through college]."
• Minerals: Physical Properties: Listing of minerals by class, type, etc.
• NASA Science: Earth This official, searchable site for NASA's earth science program focuses on the agency's exploration of the earth and is designed to "develop a scientific understanding of Earth's system and its response to natural or human-induced changes, and to improve prediction of climate, weather, and natural hazards."
• U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): Science Inventory "The Science Inventory is a searchable database of EPA science activities and scientific and technical products conducted by EPA and through EPA-funded assistance agreements."
• Physics:         
• Fundamental Physical Constants: A list of formulas for about three dozen physical constants, i.e., Planck Constant, Speed of Light, Avogadro Number, and Bohr Radius. In addition there are links to other useful sites.
• How Stuff Works: Basics on all kinds of technology
• Multimedia Physics Studio: "A collection of GIF animations and accompanying explanations of major physics concepts ... discussed in a first-year high school physics course."
• Physics.org Information for children and adults about physics. The site features a database of refereed physics websites that are searchable by "natural language query software (EasyAsk)" and that are ranked by age and level of physics knowledge.
