An easy way to double your valuable contribution is through employee giving programs.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees.

Your company’s human resources department should be able to provide information on how to apply for a matching gift.

Clicking on the link below (Search) will take you to the Ohio State University Matching Gifts website where you can check to see if your company supports a matching grant. We are using Ohio State as it has the most up-to-date database on corporate matching programs.

How to Match Your Gift?

If you or your spouse works for a company with a matching gifts program, follow these steps to double your gift:

  • Make your PTSA donation, either online, or with the form.
  • Request and complete a matching gift form from the employer.

Yes.

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations such as Alameda High School.

It's an easy way to double your contribution to us!

Who is eligible to participate in the Matching Gift Program?

Typically, it is Active Full time and Part-time Employees (20+ hrs/week).

How do I request a matching gift?

Requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process which must be initiated by the donor / volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.

Only your PTSA donation is eligible for the Matching Gifts program. PTSA membership fees aren’t eligible.

What are volunteer grant programs?

Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to organizations where employees volunteer regularly. If you volunteer with us, it’s an easy way to provide us with additional financial support!
